Amabelle is a visual artist, weaver and teacher.

Amabelle has been part of local and international exhibitions including XVI Salón de Arte Textil Museo de Arte Popular José Hernández in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Concept at Czong Institute for Contemporary Art (CICA) in South Korea, Fellows of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, iBiennale MMXIX in Honolulu, Hawaii, Amabelle Aguiluz & David Karwan at the Jones Institute in San Francisco, CA, La Triennale Internationale des Arts Textiles Moon Rain Centere of the Arts in Ottawa, Canada and Natural Selections at Brand Library & Art Center Gallery in Glendale, California. She was an artist in residence at MorYork Gallery in Highland Park in 2016, Helms Design Center in Culver City in 2017 and at California Creative Learning Academy in 2022. Amabelle was selected for the Fiber Art Now Public Installation grant for a sculpture presented at the Tucson Botanical Gardens in 2020.

She currently lives and works in Southeast Los Angeles, California.
